I’m a passionate and qualified employee engagement and communications expert with the belief that there is a better way to do business.

I have over twenty years leadership experience in large, highly regulated private companies.

I’ve designed and implemented award-winning and innovative solutions to drive cultural change and employee engagement across a broad range of business areas.

These include a large-scale cultural intervention for over 3000 colleagues, development of organisational vision and values, group-wide annual  employee engagement and pulse surveys, corporate giving, reward and recognition, internal communications and leadership development strategies.

I pioneered the use of the web for customer service in the UK rail industry, first with a real-time feedback tool called ‘service-insight’ and then with Twitter for Virgin. I launched the UK’s first corporate donation-matching website and have won awards for internal publications.

In 2010 I was invited to join Engage for Success as a ‘guru’ and since then have been a highly visible and active supporter of the movement. I created and moderate the global google+ employee engagement community for Engage for Success at and I speak and blog on employee engagement and #businessdonebetter.
